A trip to the local market is an experience, one you should not miss!
It is both charming and exciting, and you will find most of what you need there. Everything from food, clothing, shoes, household goods,
flowers, pictures and much much more can be found at the market.
The market is open early and doesn’t close until Siesta, around 2:00 pm. Keep a close watch on your purse and valuables, however, because there is always a chance that there can be pickpockets about in the large crowds.
Another tip: always shop around at other stands that carry the same goods, you can sometimes find the item you are looking for a little cheaper elsewhere! You probably would be wise to learn a little Spanish too, as very few speak English and it is quite common to bargain, everyone do, so you can too.
